Codling moth Update

 

First flight spray timing is 300 degree-days (DD) from first biofix or when small nutlets first appear, whichever is later. (Nut size should not exceed 3/8 – ½ inch diameter).

 

Using an April 19 biofix, the DD were at 281 as of May 8 using the Nicolaus Cimis weather station.

 

Oriental fruit moth

PCAs continue to report sporadic and low trap catches.
